On September 6, 2007 (his birthday), Mark Beagley started his new job with Motricity West located in Bellevue, Washington in the Mobile Content Department. According to their website www.motricity.com "Motricity's mobile department is a leading developer of mobile technologies and infrastructure services to help mobile users quickly and easily discover and enjoy content and information on the go. Motricity's mobile platform offers carrier partners a customizable, scalable solution for the programming and delivery of mobile content, helping build stronger brands and generate revenue. The company's mobile products and services are available to over 200 million consumers through mobile operators such as AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel, and Virgin Mobile."

Mark works with mobile graphics and animations where he is responsible for editing, preparing, and uploading graphics for the web, cell phones, cell phone web browsers, and PDA's. His education prepared him for this position as he extensively works with Adobe Photoshop, Image Ready, and Fireworks. Mark stated that his understanding of design fundamentals, Photoshop Actions, file sizes, file architecture and management, and organization, all enable him to be handle his new job.

Mark's goals are to continue working in the design industry, while gaining additional experience, climbing the career ladder and someday (within 5 years) becoming a creative director, or working closely on a creative team. Someday he would like to also teach.

Mark's advice for his classmates is, "The industry doesn't make you. You make the industry. If you're not constantly searching for exposure and contacts, the industry and all your competition will pass your right by.
