Advanced techniques and aesthetics in digital image creation and editing are explored and applied through the completion of computer design projects.
Media Production II
This course focuses upon advanced topics in digital media production, addressing post-production and distribution of projects. Application of artistic vision to solving problems encountered in a real-world production environment and workflow is emphasized. Efficient balance of competing resource needs such as budgets, timelines, staff management, client relations and target audiences will be covered.
Screenwriting
This Digital Media Production course focuses on the dual roles and activities of storyboarding and scriptwriting to convey and communicate a variety of design needs. Students will explore methods for expressing sequential ideas in order to solve complex design and communication problems.
Web Design I
This Digital Media Production class explores professional web design principles and techniques using web design software and hand coding. Students will explore various features of web design, including formatting text; inserting graphics, video, audio, and animation; creating tables, frames, forms, and hyperlinks; and standardizing page layouts using cascading style sheets. Students will be expected to work on independent projects that develop their technical and design skills.
